Listen: Jamie xx Remixes Radiohead's "Bloom"
Jamie xx and Thom Yorke’s careers keep overlapping. The pair both played DJ sets at the Boiler Room late last year, and Jamie has produced a number of remixes of the Radiohead track “Bloom.” The first of those appeared on the TKOL RMX 1234567 remix album, the second one is currently MIA, and the third is streaming in the clip below. This version will be released by Young Turks in an edition of just 500 copies (available to preorder here), which is likely to sell out quicker than you can say TKOL RMX 1234567. This is a club oriented jam, extended out to almost eight minutes, with Jamie subtly letting the track rise and fall from whistling techno groves to built-up ambient passages. [via FACT]
