Listen: Jack White Covers U2's "Love Is Blindness"

Jack White has officially made up for his god-awful collaborations with the Insane Clown Posse, because the blues rocker's take on U2's "Love is Blindness" is exactly what we want to hear from him. Forget all the gimmicks and bullshit, Jack, and just focus on recording music like this. Yes, this is only a cover track for Q Magazine's upcoming U2 tribute compilation, but it's sonically in the right lane. Plus, it's probably the best cover we'll hear on the comp, which also features the Fray, Snow Patrol, the Killers, and Damien Rice. Nine Inch Nails, Patti Smith, and Depeche Mode are on there, too, but it looks like the bad will certainly outweigh the good. [CoS]
