
Without a doubt, one of the more interesting developments in the Dinosaur Jr. camp has to be J Mascis' recent decision to work with the Electronic Anthology Project. The outfit, which is Built to Spill bassist Brett Nelson's side-project, is in the midst of remaking nine tracks from the Dinosaur Jr. discography with, of course, some help from Mascis himself.
And the first we're hearing from it is "Tarpit," which has been transformed into a synth-pop romp and is obviously nothing like the You're Living All Over Me original. Listen over at Pitchfork.
