Listen: J Dilla & Danny Brown's "Dilla Bot Vs. The Hybrid" Alternate Version
It's likely that some of you became better acquainted with Detroit spitter Danny Brown when you heard his off-the-wall rhymes "Dilla Bot Vs. The Hybrid" on J Dilla's posthumous Jay Stay Paid album two and a half years ago. I mean, "Touch mics like Macaulay Culkin"? Sweet lord. While we wait to hear new Brown and Dilla collaborations on Rebirth of Detroit, the folks at Nature Sounds have brought Christmas in February with this previously unreleased tune from the duo. It's the alternate/demo version of "Dilla Bot Vs. The Hybrid" that you should probably not play around kids or your parents. Jus' sayin'. Stream it below and download it on Bandcamp.
