Record Store Day is tomorrow, and there are so many great one-off vinyl releases on offer that you may need to start a line outside your local store in the next few hours. Among the most intriguing singles being released for the event is the Feist/Mastodon spilt 7”, in which the two distinctly opposite acts come together as Feistodon. It gives us a chance to hear the Atlanta metal outfit take on “A Commotion” from last year’s Metals, while Feist performs a cover of “Black Tongue” from The Hunter. There are no surprises here—unfortunately Feist didn’t go full-on metal and stick close to the original track—but it’s still worth your time. Check out both songs below.
