Bobby Womack may have had a recent health scare—of which he has thankfully recovered—but that hasn’t stopped him from forging ahead with the release of The Bravest Man in the Universe. The album was produced by Damon Albarn and XL Records boss Richard Russell, who have provided Womack’s voice with a 21st century musical backdrop as a buffer. The album is getting an official release on June 11, and the previews we’ve heard so far, particularly “Please Forgive My Heart,” bode extremely well. Now you can see if that promise has been fulfilled by heading over to NPR, where the album is being streamed in full for a limited time.
