‘Lincoln’ Teaser Trailer Released; Full Trailer Coming To Google+

Google Play has released an exclusive teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln.

The teaser trailer is only 44 seconds long and only provides a brief glimpse of Daniel Day-Lewis as the 16th President of the United States. However, the teaser is actually promoting the release of the full trailer, which will be released on Thursday night.

However, the trailer will not be released in a conventional method. The only way to see the full trailer is to join a Google+ hangout with Spielberg and Lincoln cast member Joseph Gordon-Levitt on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. It’s an interesting way to cross-promote Google’s long-failing social networking site.

Lincoln is set to open in limited release on Nov 9 and wide release on Nov. 16. Watch the trailer below and get your Google+ account ready if you want to see a longer look at one of the most anticipated movies of Winter 2012.
