Lily Allen to Sell New Album at Low, Low Price

It’s hard to know whether this is a benevolent gesture or the result of the crap economy (we’d guess a mixture of the two, although why look a gift horse in the mouth), but Lily Allen will be selling her upcoming album at the super cheap price of $3.99. Through a deal struck with Amazon and MySpace, It’s Not Me, It’s You, which goes on sale on February 10, will retail at that bargain basement price for the first week of its release. Expect to pay more after February 16. Still not sure if you’re quite ready to part with $4? Consider giving the songs a good once over first by visiting Allen’s MySpace page, where you can stream the entire album.  [NME]
