Lily Allen to Sell New Album at Low, Low Price

It’s hard to know whether this is a benevolent gesture or the result of the crap economy (we’d guess a mixture of the two, although why look a gift horse in the mouth), but Lily Allen will be selling her upcoming album at the super cheap price of $3.99. Through a deal struck with Amazon and MySpace, It's Not Me, It's You, which goes on sale on February 10, will retail at that bargain basement price for the first week of its release. Expect to pay more after February 16. Still not sure if you’re quite ready to part with $4? Consider giving the songs a good once over first by visiting Allen’s MySpace page, where you can stream the entire album.  [NME]

I wouldn't buy her album if it was $1.00.

I want to set her bangs on fire...and then make out with her.

I know she's now famous for being famous, but I think she does make some very catchy pop songs. This album will sell well.

Ha! I'm kind of falling in love with that comment.
On a side note, I make fun of her, but I really do like Lily Allen. I mean, yawn to all the tabloid staple stuff, but she does make great pop songs. Really.

Just for fun, I used this special human powered search engine, SweetSearch, to see if Lily allen has any merit as a human being. (this engine supposedly weeds out crap.)

Turns out, she's actually kind of interesting

"It’s arrogant for them to give their music away for free - they’ve got millions of pounds. It sends a weird message to younger bands who haven’t done as well... You don’t choose how to pay for eggs." -Lily Allen, on Radiohead

Eggs are groceries and thus more valuable than art. What kinda world??
