Not only is superproducer Mark Ronson overseeing the third Kaiser Chiefs album, apparently he's roped Lily Allen into the proceedings. The British songbird, who had previously performed a version of the band's "Oh My God" on Ronson's own album, will be making a guest appearance on the next KC release, at Ronson's behest. With any luck, Ronson's sonic machinations will generate enough forward motion to lift the once-promising Britpoppers out of the classic sophomore slump into which their torpid second album unceremoniously dumped them. Go ahead, call us starry-eyed dreamers; hell, we're still watching the skies for another Dogs Die in Hot Cars album...
