Back in 2009, Lily Allen announced the sad news that she was retiring from music. But in June, the British pop star tweeted that she was in the studio with The Bird & The Bee's Greg Kurstin. Although the news was good, without sharing any new music or announcing any live appearances, it was hard to say that she was officially making a comeback.
But that may have all changed last night during Stone Roses' reunion show in the band's hometown of Manchester, England. Before the Roses hit the state, rapper Professor Green heated up the crowd by bringing out a surprise guest--Miss Allen. The two performed "Just Be Good To Green," their joint single from 2010 and the singer promptly went to Twitter, saying "No @professorgreen wasnt swinging a cat around on stage @HEATONPARK that was me trying to sing. loved it , thanks manchester x x x."
It's good to have you back, Lily.
