In April, Lil Wayne, via his Cash Money label, brought lawsuits against a bevy of producers, including DJ Drama, who arguably broke Wayne to a bigger audience with the Dedication series, for selling his music illegally. It seemed like a total dick move. I mean, suing people for selling your music when you make three mixtapes with them?
A federal judge has basically agreed, tossing out Cash Money's lawsuits, saying that Cash Money has "no valid legal claim against defendants." It'll be totally awkward the next time Wayne runs into Drama at the grocery store. [Pitchfork]
