The total gross numbers are in for Lil Wayne's recently concluded America's Most Wanted tour, and the profits are in the millis; 42 to be exact, making it the highest grossing hip-hop tour in a long while. It bests the numbers for Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige's 2008 tour (which raked in $34.6 million), and Kanye West's 2008 Glow in the Dark tour, which pulled $30.8 million. Wayne's tour also drew nearly 804,000 fans, more than doubling the total fans that came out for Kanye or Jay-Z's tours. But it should be noted that Wayne's tour lasted nearly nine months, while the others were shorter. Still though, $42 million. [Billboard]
