Lil Wayne's post-prison life is apparently just like mine now: He spends it lurking on Facebook and murking people. But in Lil Wayne's case, he doesn't murk some kid he knew in high school: He murks Oreo, as in the cookie company, which for some reason, was going to the Guinness World Record for most likes on a post in 24 hour period. Lil Wayne decided to compete against them, and he's probably won: He has close to 530,000 likes already, while Oreo got only 116,000. But Oreo has already claimed victory, while Weezy still has two hours. Weezy might have needed to contact Guinness beforehand, I guess. More as this important story breaks. [Mashable]
so silly but entertaining. internetz ftw in 2011!!
There has been "something big" publicized by Oreo cookies. For the last week, they have been encouraging people to fan their Facebook page. The world record was certified today. Oreo cookies formally got the most "likes" on one post in one day. Rapper Lil’ Wayne did far better in achieving this goal, however the official record has been granted. I wonder how much of a personal loan Oreo had to take out for advertising this program.
