Lil Wayne To Do 'MTV Unplugged'
I pondered yesterday if the all-out promotional campaign behind Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV was starting when a video trailer for the album hit the web. And it looks like that might be the case because Weezy is making another sizable push for the project tonight when he tapes an episode of MTV Unplugged. He will join the ranks of Jay-Z, whose Unplugged album is just the best, and (gulp) B.o.B, who appeared on the series last year.
Unfortunately, Weezy's episode isn't airing until June 12 at 9 p.m., or nine days before the rumored release date of Tha Carter IV.
