Yesterday I saw a rather random commercial-- it's for some product called "G" and it had Lil Wayne as a narrator. I'm fairly certain it's for a re-launch of Gatorade since Dwayne Wade, Muhammad Ali, some olympians, and, uh, the Jabbawockeez are in the ad. Whether it's for Gatorade or not is hardly important, I guess, since it does a fine job of confusing the hell out of anyone watching. Which, as my Advertising professor said, is the goal of any ad campaign. (Honestly, I have no idea if she said that. I hated that class). [Celebully]
Not making me want to buy more Gatorade, but I can see this being a successful ad campaign although it's bizarre.
good to see i wasn't the only one completely baffled by this.
What's there to be baffled about... Wayne did an excellent job narrating, a star-studded roster, and is exactly what Gatorade wants, to have the freats endorse their product
