HHNLive is reporting that Lil' Wayne is teaming up with DJ Benzi to deliver a new mixtape entitled None Higher. Among the more interesting contributors are Ghislain Poirier and Diplo, who will be contributing production work to the mixtape. Other guest appearances include Devin the Dude, Jay-Z, The Clipse, and A-Trak.
Because DJ Benzi was also involved with The Clipse's We Got The Remix, I have some high expectations for this project and expect more than a collection throwaway tracks. Since the mixtape will be pressed and manufactured, I'm guessing that these remixes will be rebuilt from the ground up as opposed to a collection of lame mashups that sound patched together. None Higher is scheduled to drop in May.
