Lil Wayne dominates BET Awards nominations

In a development that will surprise no one, Lil Wayne (he, the mastermind behind Tha Carter III, that album you hear coming out of the speakers in nearly every car driving by) has racked up 12 nominations for this year’s BET Awards. Kanye West has seven nominations, while Jay-Z has six. The show goes down on October 18 and is hosted by Katt Williams. It airs on BET on October 23. [People]
