Lil Wayne Covers Aerosmith in London

Rebirth may be taking an incredible amount of time to emerge, but that’s not stopping Lil Wayne from demonstrating his new rock direction. He appeared at a show in London last night (Oct. 8), where he played with a live band and picked up a guitar to strum along halfway through the concert.

"If you ain't afraid to rock, show me,” he said, before making the classic heavy metal devil sign with his fingers. Unfortunately, according to this NME report, Wayne is unable to play guitar, and simply tapped along on one string. A cover of “Walk This Way” be Aerosmith was included in his set.

The report also says that Wayne’s hip-hop songs received a more favorable reception than his excursions into rock. The set ended with his DJ paying tribute to Michael Jackson by playing “Billie Jean.” And Rebirth? Currently scheduled for December 15, but don’t hold your breath.
