Lil Wayne already recording for 'The Carter IV'

In a fairly un-shocking turn of events, Lil Wayne tells Billboard.com that some of the 75 songs he records every day are slated for Tha Carter IV. This should not be taken as an indication that the album will be out anytime soon though since Wayne has plenty more on his plate. He and T-Pain seem pretty serious about releasing a “T-Wayne” project after the hype has died down for CIII and Thr33 Ringz, so between that and an inevitable slew of mixtapes, there’s unlikely to be any shortage of Lil Wayne in 2009, Carter IV or not.
