In a totally normal development for Lil Wayne, he and his Young Money compatriots are being sued for $15 million, because they apparently lifted at least a portion of their hit, "Bedrock." Georgia-based Done Deal Productions is alleging that they copyrighted parts of "Bedrock," and Weezy F. and company stole the beat without paying them at all. Weezy is due in court on Oct. 12 to face the allegations.
This is a trend in Lil Wayne's life, as whoever works on song clearances at Young Money/Cash Money isn't working that hard apparently. There are at least three other lawsuits going against Weezy right now for a similar issue. [Smoking Section]
