Lil Jon signs with Universal Republic

Lil Jon, who has been in label purgatory since the shuttering of TVT earlier this year, has signed with Universal Republic. Jon will serve as an artists and A&R and production consultant for Universal, and is in negotiations over whether his own label, BME Recordings, will be released through Universal. Jon also revealed his delayed LP, Crunk Rock, will be out in 2009 on Universal. His last album, Crunk Juice, came out way back in 2004. [Billboard]
