Apparently, Lil Jon is an Atlanta Thrashers fan.
As part of the NHL's effort to win back fans and keep MLS from becoming the fourth-largest professional sport in America for at least a few more years, the league has enlisted celebrities such as Christie Brinkley, Willa Ford, and Amy Grant to blog about their favorite NHL teams during its will-eventually-seem-interminable playoffs.
The crunk mastermind's currently only got one post up, but a quick evaluation reveals a lack of hard-hitting analysis, but a surprising amount of candor, with an admission that though he hasn't been following the Thrashers all season, his son plays hockey, and that the two of them love hanging out with the Thrashers' owners. Here's a taste:

The first Thrashers game I went to they got into a shootout. That was amazing, and they won, and I was like dope! That really made me fall all the way in love with it. I like the shootouts and everything else involved with the game. But the shootouts are the real deal. To see the guy go from one end to the other end and try to score, man! And some guys do it with such ease! That first game they won, and they even used to call us a good luck charm, my son and I, because whenever we were in-house they won. We'''ve been going so often that now I'''m in cool with the players and the owner, and they'''ve welcomed us into their household. We love to go to the games to have fun and support the team.
