We’ve already established that Liam Gallagher is going to head into the filmmaking world with a movie about the Beatles, and now the former Oasis singer has made an appearance at Cannes to promote the project. The film is based around Richard DiLello’s memoir about his time with the Fab Four.
"I'm not going into films, this is the last thing for me," he said in an interview conducted with Andrew Eaton of Revolution Films. "I mean, I'm not going to get sucked into that. I'm going to do this one thing because I like it, and I've got the opportunity to do it, and Andrew's going to make it happen, and that's it."
It looks like Gallagher was enjoying Cannes, as you can see in this interview filmed for the Guardian’s website. But don’t hold your breath waiting for the acting debut of the singer, who assured Cannes festivalgoers that he wouldn’t appear in the film. The reason? "I'm too good looking,” he said.
