Upcoming documentary on political music to have star-studded soundtrack

Work is currently underway on the documentary Let Fury Have the Hour, a filmic treatment of Antonino D'Ambrosio's book of the same name. Both works examine what happens when politics and popular music collide in the work of artists like Manu Chao and Joe Strummer. Radio 4 will supply the score, while the soundtrack will also include songs from Chuck D, Ted Leo, Ben Gibbard, Mos Def, Moby, and more still to be named. All involved with the film are hoping it's ready for release in time for the thick of the presidential race next year. [Billboard]

Ha! Yeah, I worry about their involvement with this too. Have never been impressed with them in the least.
