Les Savy Fav live album due in April

Can you think of any band that deserves a live album more than the showmen in Les Savy Fav? Nope, not us either. After the Balls Drop is a recording of LSF's storied 3 a.m. performance at the Bowery Ballroom on New Year's, where the band pretty much pulled out all the stops, and weren't afraid to throw out a few covers to celebrate day one of 2008. Covers include Credence Clearwater Revival's "Hey Tonight," Nirvana's "Sliver," Misfits' "Astro Zombies," Pixies' "Debaser," and Love's "Everybody's Gotta Live." Download the live version of "Sweat Descends" here. The album is due April 29.
