Les Savy Fav get friendly on new album

And you thought the cover for the new Interpol album was beastly. Check out the artwork for Les Savy Fav's Let's Stay Friends, due out September 18 on Frenchkiss. Are those humanoid cartoon figures sporting pubes? Did Tim Harrington himself serve as the model for the male one? Because that guy's pretty hairy.
Let's Stay Friends, Les Savy Fav's first new full-length since 2001's Go Forth, is chock full of guests. Eleanor Friedberger, Emily Haines, Fred Armisen, and members of Black Heart Procession, Enon, and Islands all show up on the album. Even the band's fans get in on the action, as "Scotchguard the Credit Card" features voice-mail vocals called in from Les Savy Fav followers responding to a request on the band's website earlier this year.
For now, the band only has two live appearances scheduled, both in New York City: September 21 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg and 22 at Bowery Ballroom. Follow on after the jump for the tracklist for Let's Stay Friends...

The rumor from two years ago that they were splitting up was very untrue! How nice.
