The world would be worse off without the spaz-bassed, funked up, rural storytelling of Les Claypool. Dude's like a modern day Edgar Allen Poe, but with more of a sense of humor than dread. So if you need a pick-me-up over the next few months, go catch the prime Primus man live. He's billing these shows under his own name, not as Primus, or as Fearless Flying Frog Brigade or Bucket of Bernie Brains or any of the other zany band monikers he's come up with over the years.
