Yesterday, NBC star Donald Glover released another mixtape under his hip-hop alter ego Childish Gambino. Royalty featured a number of high-profile collaborations: Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q, and...fellow NBC star Tina Fey?
As Pop Dust points out, Fey shows up in the closing moments of "Real Estate" dropping some mean rhymes about Priuses and Nordstrom racks:
"Yeah we in here, we in this thing
Gambino is forever, royalty is forever
We ballin’ till we fuckin up the hardwood, homie
This is the life we live, son
My president is black and my Prius is blue, motherfucker
Royalty all day, we droppin’ racks at Nordstrom, son
That’s racks on racks dammit, you feel me? You feel me?
This is the part where most people would say something crazy and drop the n-word after it
Not going to, not gonna do that, I DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE!
Lemonem makes a triumphant return. Is a solo album in the works? Not sure, but until then, take a listen to the track below.
