Led Zeppelin’s Counting Down To…A Concert DVD?

We all got excited when mysterious numbers starting counting down each day on Led Zeppelin’s official website, collectively imagining a possible reunion 2.0 or new music or something. Day Zero has arrived and…Led Zeppelin is putting out another concert DVD?

Seems a bit anti-climatic given the promotional push. Still, the DVD–titled Celebration Day–chronicles the Zepp’s initial reunion (sans John Bonham, of course) in 2007 for a concert at London’s O2 Arena that celebrated the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. 20 million people applied for tickets to the show, but only 18,000 got in, making it “the most demanded ticket in music history.”

The band–Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Bonham’s son Jason on drums–ripped through a two-hour set which has been whittled down to the DVD’s track list (below). The film will be released to theaters on October 17 and stores November 19, and there’s a trailer below. Communication breakdown, indeed. [NME]
