LCD Soundsystem's exercise album 45:33, released in collaboration with Nike and iTunes, is being remixed by a handful of artists for an expanded album due out this fall, says NME. Prior to the release of the full album each remix will be released as a 12" vinyl single. The remixers will be Runaway, Prince Language, Prins Thomas Diskomiks, Theo Parrish's Space Cadet, Trus' Me, Padded Cell, Pilooski, and Riley Reinhold. Since 45:33 was not LCD Soundsystem's most inspired work, they should find ways to improve upon it. Presumably the same can be said for James Murphy, who's working on a new full-length album for LCD Soundsystem while this gang is busy remixing his old record.
The new 45:33 is due out September 14.
