Law Firm Suing Prince For A Bunch Of Money

The most important questions here are 1) what will Prince wear to court and 2) will it require the adjective “assless”? (Keep your fingers crossed!) Anyway, the still-totally-awesome Prince is being sued by a New York City law firm that says he’s in arrears on a hefty (for plebes like you and me, not for Prince) $700,000 bill. Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler filed a lawsuit yesterday in New York State Supreme Court alleging that the singer/guitarist/everythingist had only paid $125,000 of the tab, which is purportedly owed for representation provided in several cases, including his 2006 divorce. Unsurprisingly, Prince hasn’t responded to requests for comment. [Billboard]
