Word on the street (or in the blogosphere, rather) is that Lauryn Hill – singer, songwriter, rapper, neo-soul artist and possible fertility goddess – may be pregnant. What with this being a rumor and all, there’s not much more information available. It should be noted that this, should the rumor turn out to be true, is Hill’s sixth pregnancy. She already has five other children with Rohan Marley, son of reggae legend Bob.

Hill was childhood friends with actor Zach Braff and they both graduated from Columbia High School (New Jersey) in 1993, where Hill was an active student, cheerleader, and performer. Braff has spoken of Hill attending his Bar Mitzvah in 1988.

i knew... (although i don't remember zach at all) i was in high school with lauryn and met her later in her prime at one of her concerts. she is a really sweet and amazing woman. i wish she was still performing... maybe someday she'll be back. until then, we can only hope all of her children will bring us more incredible talent.
