Ladytron Set to Release Career-Spanning Compilation

It’s almost been 10 years since Ladytron formed, and the band is releasing a collection of its most popular songs to commemorate the occasion. A recent appearance on Yo Gabba Gabba and some studio time with Christina Aguilera has been keeping the band members busy since the 2008 release of Velocifero.

 

"We've got some ideas about what we want to do about the next album, but I think first we're going to release a 'Best of Ladytron,'" Reuben Wu said in an interview with Spinner.co.uk. "Since we've done four albums, I think it would be time to put something like that together."

 

There will also be a strong visual element to the package. "We were able to put a lot of visual stuff we amassed over the years, which would be very interesting to [old] fans, and new fans," he added. "Since we've been working with Christina, I think a lot of new audiences out there will want to know about us."
