The most anticipated single in the pop realm this year just got brought forward by a few days. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" will now surface on Friday (Feb. 11) instead of its original Feb. 13 release date, although it's not clear what prompted this move (although I think at this point we can assume Gaga's people know what they're doing).
It's possible they didn't want the single release to conflict with Gaga's appearance on 60 Minutes on Sunday, or her show on the Grammys, which takes place on the same day. You can preview the former via a clip over on Gaga Daily, which has a video of the singer revisiting some of her old Lower East Side haunts.
