The dust hasn’t quite settled on Kanye West’s outburst at the VMAs earlier this month, with his soon-to-be tourmate Lady GaGa offering a few thoughts on the ordeal. Gaga is fresh from recording new material and shooting this strange teaser for the Fame Kills tour.
She spoke to MTV about West, saying: “I would say he's a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so fucking bad. He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff. If you listen to the radio right now, with the exception of myself, really, and Taylor Swift, Kanye is responsible for everything we're listening to.”
Gaga has also spoken about the lavish Fame Kills shows, saying that their performances will be integrated. "The storyline is that Kanye is on one end of the stage and I'm on the other, and the whole show, we are trying to get to where each other is,” she said. "I want something that he has, which is the fame, and he wants something that I have, which is home, and my humble beginnings. So we battle each other throughout the entire performance to steal each other's spaces. So I'm essentially on a quest to kill Kanye West to steal his fame."
The tour, which looks set to be the greatest event this side of West Side Story, or a total farce that will fall flat on its face, begins in Arizona on Nov. 10.
