Lady GaGa gets a lot of flack for refusing to wear pants, saying whatever comes to mind , and just essentially being an absurd, laughable, somewhat shameful anomaly in the fabric of pop culture. Well, all of us in the peanut gallery better shut up cause li'l old Stefani Germanotta seems to have captured the zeitgeist: Lady Gaga's first entries onto Billboard's hot 100, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face," have both made it to number one, making Lady GaGa the fourth female artist in 25 years to do so, along with Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, and Tiffany. She's also the first since Aguilera did the same with "Genie in a Bottle" and "What a Girl Wants" almost ten years ago.
What does this mean? Probably just that we all have to put on our poker faces , get ready to play a love game , and say goodbye to good ole' fashion knickers. I'll be taking suggestions for the kind of panties I should buy in the comments below.
Lady Gaga is the first artist in 10 minutes to make me want to throw up.
