Lady Gaga Countersues Ex-Producer

Lady Gaga responded to the thirty-million dollar lawsuit laid on her by former collaborator and boyfriend Rob Fusari by countersuing him for the exact same amount. Though Fusari says that he is owed royalties and merchandising monies, Gaga’s countersuit characterizes the agreement she made with him as “structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose — to provide to the defendants unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents.” Gaga says that Fusari took advantage of her status as “inexperienced performing artist” to get her to sign a deal that was “predatory and abusive.” Lady Gaga should have just shown him her poker face, and then she could have brokered a better deal and skipped all this unpleasantness.
