Lady Gaga And Tony Bennett To Collaborate On Jazz Album

Remember how surprising it was to see Lady Gaga on Tony Bennett’s Duets II? If that surprised you, then you’ll be shocked to know that they’re going to be making an jazz album together.

“Of all things, she called me from New Zealand and said, ‘I want to do a jazz album with you,'” Bennett said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “And I said, ‘You got it!’ So that’s one of the things we’re gonna do.”

Elaborating on the direction of the album, Bennett told the magazine that they are going to work with Marian Evans and a big swing band. On top that, he said that the album will consist of songs from the catalog of a songwriter that’s yet to be made public.

But the big question remains, will there be live shows? If so, how do you think Gaga’s Little Monsters will react to her singing jazz standards with Tony Bennett? Only time will tell.
