Aereogramme/Twilight Sad @ Knitting Factory, 4/18Break out the suet - it's a Scottish shindig! The Los Angeles date of this tour will be a special occasion, featuring bearded post-rockers Aereogramme (pictured) and clean-shaven epic mopers the Twilight Sad. Aereogramme's visa issues prevented them from headlining their own tour until the thing was halfway over, forcing the Twilight Sad into the headlining spot until Seattle; meanwhile, the Knitting Factory's hosting the Twilight Sad on their final tour date. So all will be in place, happy vibes will float about, and guitars will rush on without disruption. While Aereogramme celebrates the release of new record My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go, the Twilight Sad's got a gorgeous debut LP, Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters, to show off. Together, the pair of bands will force wordy wishes, tragic tears and seven-minute adventures unto you. And you'll swoon until the music stops. (CB)
