La Roux and Major Lazer to Drop Mixtape, "Lazerproof," May 26

Admit it: La Roux's dance hit "Bullet Proof" is so catchy that you don't actually mind it being played every 15 minutes on Top 40 radio. Well, I don't anyway.

Fans of La Roux who have had their album for a year and want to hear more of the electropop duo are in luck. Come this Wednesday, May 26, La Roux and the electro-dancehall duo Major Lazer will drop a free mixtape titled Lazerproof at Mad Decent.

For this effort, the artists behind Major Lazer -- Diplo and Switch -- have put together a project Mad Decent is dubbing "synth-Britania meets dubstep dancehall." The tape will play on both groups' styles and mix in elements of ska, dubstep and hip-hop and include guest appearances from Drake, Gucci Mane and Amanda Blank.
