Hella @ The Echo, 4/13It's a testament to Hella's restless creativity that the new album, There's No 666 In Outer Space, manages to merge the titanic chops of drummer Zach Hill and guitarist Spencer Seim with a proper band, with a vocalist and keyboardist and second guitarist that sorta kinda play real songs (sorta kinda). No question, the new five-piece Hella lineup is more an expansion of the spazz-prog duo than a complete conceptual overhaul. Still it's a relief to know that there are a few other musicians in the universe who can hang with Hill and Seim.
