Randy Hubbard Parker, the stepson of legendary rapper KRS-One, shot and killed himself this past Friday in his apartment in Atlanta, GA. He was 23 years old. In a statement released yesterday, KRS-One's wife Simone Parker said that her son was experiencing "severe depression." The family is planning for a private funeral in Florida on July 18th, which would have been Mr. Parker's 24th birthday - an additional memorial service will take place in New York in August. Our hearts go out to Parker's family and friends.
