KROQ announces Almost Acoustic Christmas lineup
Sign number 8,549 that I'm getting older is that I used to look forward to an announcement of one of KROQ's big yearly shows (see also: Weenie Roast and Inland Invasion), but now find nary a band to get excited about. For the kiddos who care, AAC will be held December 9 and 10 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in L.A. Headliners include Foo Fighters, The Killers, Beck, and Gnarls Barkley. For adults who care, it's nice to see proceeds going to two very worthy L.A. charities, The Wooten Heritage Center and Para Los Ninos.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday/ tomorrow/ 11/21@ 10 A.M.! Night one is going to be amazing!!! Tickets will sell out as they do every year, especially pit tickets, they're gone within hours tomorrow. Tickets are already going for more than $800, but they're only $75 if you buy them from the Gibson Box Office (NO SERVICE FEES)! Anywhere else you buy them on the internet, they charge a$10-20 service fee. Tickets are limited to two per person to control scalping and such. So, you HAVE to pick ONE night! I wanna go see The Bravery again, just saw 'em on the Nov. 5 at The Wiltern, but I gotta see AFI and Paramore before the year is up!!
