Kraftwerk Announce Residency In Germany This January

Way earlier this year, we reported that legendary electronic outfit Kraftwerk would hold residency at New York’s Museum of Modern Art to play the group’s discography over the course of eight nights. Now it’s been announced that the consecutive performances, matter-of-factly called 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, will now see a similar showing in Kraftwerk‘s home country of Germany–more specifically in Düsseldorf, the group’s hometown.

The new residency will take place at the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen Museum, first from Jan. 11-13, then Jan. 16-20. Like the MoMA shows, Kraftwerk will play one album per date and will be accompanied by 3-D visuals. Attendees will also get the treat of hearing additional works from Kraftwerk’s back catalog at the end of every show. Below you can see the performance schedule. [FACT]
