Kool Keith to Grace the World with Porn, "Porn Apparel"

We thought most porn was largely concerned with what its actors weren't wearing, but oh well — this isn't the first time Kool Keith has straightened us out. Apparently, according to Keith, the fashion choices in porn are all wrong. Luckily, he's starting a clothing line, KK Apparel, to solve this very problem (a problem which, again, we weren't aware existed.)

 He says, "I'm tired of the porn - even in amateur movies and stuff like that - I'm tired of the apparel. It's time for new apparel. It's time for other things, and other co-ordinations in fashion."

Lest you think vague state-of-the-world generalizations are all Keith is up to, fear not. He'll also be providing a place to showcase his fashions — in "films" released by his new company, KK Films. Now all he needs is a few good women. If you've always wanted to be in porn, but have shied away because you didn't think the lingerie was fashion-forward enough, this may be your chance!

He adds, "I'm looking for up and coming talent, instead of all the normal talent that you always see out there - talent that we get monotonous with, the same girls all in the same magazines, porn boxes. ... Definitely, there are places that a lot of people don't have an outlet, as far as they're not in New York City and not in California. I want to touch people who possibly can't be reached by a person or scout out there.

He wants to touch people, so he's going into porn production — that sounds about right. We're not even going to touch the "up and coming" comment. He's making it too easy. [Contact Music]
