K'naan Track Picked As 2010 World Cup Anthem

K'naan has been on quite a roll this year. His Troubadour album was generally praised by critics. And it also reached a wider audience thanks to his nonstop touring and singles such as "Wavin' Flag," which will soon go beyond appearing on the Billboard charts. NME reported that FIFA announced the song will be the anthem for the 2010 World Cup, which begins June 11 next year in South Africa. The track will also be remixed into "Wavin' Flag: The Celebration Mix"for the international sporting event.
