Klaxons push Pistols to right thirty year wrong
Everything is coming up Lydon! Mercury Prize winners Klaxons have proclaimed the Sex Pistols "the most important band that existed" and are backing efforts to get the band's anthem 'God Save The Queen' to the top of the charts after it was denied its spot at number one thirty years ago. Seems some square in charge thought the song might spoil the Queen's silver jubilee celebration in 1977 and banned it from topping the chart. Klaxons are encouraging all of their fans and other interested parties to put "God Save the Queen" at number one by purchasing its anniversary release next week. In a related note, John Lydon has purchased two burlap sacks with dollars signs on them.
