Klaxons want to work with Dre

Give Klaxons credit; they’re thinking ahead. The New Rave group’s debut album hasn’t even been released in the U.S. yet, and they’re already talking about what they’d like to do for the next one. Apparently, they’d like to write an R&B album, and maybe even work with Dr. Dre.
“We would very much like to make an R&B record. If we could afford it,” James Righton told MTV recently. Speaking before the band inked a deal in the U.S. with Rinse/DGC, Righton added: The most interesting thing for us would be to work with Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg. But if we did do that [record] deal we would probably jeopardise our future working with Dr. Dre.”
As reported yesterday, Klaxons have their first North American dates scheduled for April.
