Klaxons Cancel Tour Due To “Unforeseen Circumstances”

Usually when a band has to cancel a tour it’s blamed on illness or “exhaustion,” though that’s often just a polite euphemism for excessive drug use. British dance-rock group Klaxons are going straight mysterious on us, canceling their recently-announced fifteen-date tour through the U.S. with CREEP by merely citing “unforeseen circumstances.” That could be anything, really.

In a statement on the band’s Facebook page, the band announced the cancellation of their shows in March and April, including a stint at Coachella. However, anyone who already bought tickets to the shows and has a proof of purchase will be able to download a new, exclusive song that has yet to be released anywhere. Just send your confirmation email or a scan of the tickets to info@klaxons.net. It won’t be the same as seeing them live, but at least it’s some consolation.
