KISS Planning Australian Coffee Shop
Kiss are beacons of integrity when it comes to their product endorsements. Wait, KISS have no integrity when it comes to their product placements. The band even made a coffin that allows you to be buried in a box painted with the logo of your favorite shitty band. And now there's this: KissCoffeeHouse, a Kiss=themed coffee place where you can get coffee and listen to sub-standard rock and roll. Apparently there is already one of the coffee houses in Myrtle Beach, but there is some dude feverishly working in Melbourne, Australia, to get the funding (around $4.5 million) to open one Down Under.
The guy in Australia, with the help of Kiss, is seeking investors for the coffeehouse, which will have to pay some hefty licensing fees to actually open. For the low, low price of $227,000, interested KissCoffeeHouse investors will get membership in the KISS Army, signed band merchandise and a chance to meet the band members. So if that's what you're interested in, do it. The Melbourne location has a target open date of Dec. 31, 2010. [Spinner]
